Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Brecciated fault zone, separating Triassic Nikolai Greenstone and Chitistone Limestone, contains sporadically distributed chalcocite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, marcasite, and realgar, and subordinate orpiment and stibnite. In one outcrop, veins of chalcocite 1 to 6 in wide occur over a surface area of 50 sq. ft. Fault zone stikes N 25 E, dips 70-75 SE, and has a vertical displacement of 1000 ft.
