Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Limited information described this occurrence only as sphalerite in a boxwork of veinlets found in float (DeYoung, 1978). The area is is mapped as peraluminous biotite-muscovite granite of the Baby Creek batholith. It is a few miles northeast of the Geroe Creek porphyry Cu-Mo property (CH053) and adjoins an unidentified large claim block (U.S. Bureau of Mines, 1973) that is immediately northeast of the Geroe Creek prospect. There is no other information available on this prospect.
