Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Float sample of vein quartz contained pyrite, chalcopyrite, and possibly pyrrhotite. Prospect is located at, or near to, a shear zone (possible thrust fault) between upper Paleozoic metavolcaniclastic rocks and Jurassic plutonic and metamorphic rocks. Analysis of the float sample yielded up to 7 ppm Ag, 0.9 ppm Au, and 5,000 ppm Cu (Miller and others, 1978).
