Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Mertie (1969, p. 81) reported that a small amount of platinum was recovered from residual surface materials near this location. The residual surface material rests on dunite of the composite Red Mountain ultramafic pluton.
  • Age = Holocene.
