FAULT IS CUT BY TUNNEL, FOLLOWED BY DRIFTS AND WINZE. UP TO 3 IN. OF GOUGE IS PRESENT ON FAULT, AND LENTICULAR MASS OF QUARTZ 2 FT. THICK AND IRREGULAR QUARTZ VEINLETS LIE ON FOOTWALL OF FAULT, WHICH IS SHEARED PARALLEL TO BEDDING OF GRAYWACKE. QUARTZ IS VUGGY AND CONTAINS CONSIDERABLE GALENA AND SPHALERITE. 400 FT. N OF TUNNEL, N 10 DEGREES E-N 10 DEGREES W TRENDING, 58 DEGREES W DIPPING FAULT CARRIES UP TO 6 IN. VUGGY QUARTZ WITH PYRRHOTITE AND ARSENOPYRITE, 1.0 MI. S 27 DEGREES W OF MAIN PROSPECT, TUNNEL IS DRIVEN INTO 10 FT. THICK DIKE IN GRAYWACKE. DIKE CONTAINS MUCH GRANULAR AND INTERSTITIAL QUARTZ, QUARTZ-CALCITE-ALBITE VEINLETS. ARSENOPYRITE AND PYRITE PRESENT IN CONSIDERABLE ABUNDANCE IN DIKE NEAR HANGING WALL.
