SCHEELITE OCCURS NEAR HEAD OF CREEK IN CONTACT-METAMORPHOSED LIMESTONE AND IN GOLD BEARING QUARTZ VEINS NEAR PORPHYRITIC GRANITE INTRUSIVE BODY. ON LOWER PART OF CREEK SCHEELITE CONSTITUTES MAIN PART OF PLACER CONCENTRATES; CLOGS SLUICE BOX RIFFLES. SOME OF GROUND MINED WAS AS MUCH AS 42 FT. DEEP; PAYSTREAK IS SAID TO BE 4 FT. WIDE.
