Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Capps (1912), reported that two men made wages mining stream gravels in 1909 but did not return in 1910. Teritary gravel forms the bedrock in the headwaters of the creek; schist occurs in the lower part (Capps, 1912, p. 52).
  • Age = Quaternary placer.
