  • Geologic Description = The prospect was discovered prior to 1912 when the shaft had already caved. The prospect reportedly contained ore with free gold but no production records are available (Smith, 1913; B 525). Chapin (1914) plotted the location of the Banner prospect but did not examine the prospect in 1913. No other published or private references to the Banner prospect are known.
