Deposit QUARTZ VEINS IN DOLOMITE WEST OF CREEK CONTAIN A LITTLE GALENA. FINE GOLD IN UNMINABLE CONCENTRATIONS SAID TO HAVE BEEN FOUND IN CREEK GRAVELS; NO SHAFTS REACHED BEDROCK. TREMOLITE ASBESTOS AND GEM-QUALITY NEPHRITE JADE FOUND NEAR HEAD OF CREEK.
