Deposit GOSSAN ABOUT 100 YARDS LONG CONTAINS GALENA, SPHALERITE, AND PYRITE DISSEMINATED AS FINE GRAINS IN OXIDIZED AND SILICIFIED RHYOLITE. THE SPARCELY DISSEMINATED SULFIDES MAY REPRESENT LEAKAGE FROM AN UNDERLYING MORE EXTENSIVE MINERAL DEPOSIT. GALENA AND SPHALERITE GRAINS AS MUCH AS 5 MM LONG.
