Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Mineralization occurs in dark green to black andesite(?) containing minor amounts of sulfide minerals. Locally, volcanic rocks are brecciated, silica-cemented and contain druzzy quartz. Minor quartz stringers locally cut volcanic rocks. Exposure is is a quarry located on the contact between volcanic rocks and fine- to medium-grained hornblende granodiorite porphyry.
  • Age = Tertiary
