Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Lode claim located by St. Eugene Mining Corp. in the 1970s for gold (USBM, 1998). Occurrence is probably near the contact between lower Tertiary granitic rocks and Jura-Cretacous flysch of the Kahiltna Group. (MacKevett and Holloway, 1977, p. 77). No other published information is available.
