Deposit GOLD IS DISTRIBUTED IRREGULARLY THROUGHOUT TERTIARY CANGALLI CONGLOMERATE PALEOCHANNEL OF THE TIPUANI RIVER. BEST GOLD VALUES ARE IN THE LOWER UNIT OF POORLY SORTED CLASTS IN A MATRIX OF SMALLER CLASTS CEMENTED BY CLAY. THE UPPER UNIT CONSISTS OF POORLY SORTED COBBLES AND BOULDERS UP TO 5 M LONG IN A MATRIX OF GRAVEL, SAND AND CLAY. CONGLOMERATE BEDS ARE OF VARIABLE THICKNESS.
