Deposit QUARTZ AND AMETHYST IN ZONES OF SILICIFICATION ALONG FAULTS CUTTING CAMBRIAN LIMESTONE, WHICH FORM NORTH-TRENDING HILLS UP TO 200 M ABOVE SURROUNDING PLAIN. CRYSTALS ARE ALSO FOUND IN OVERLYING SOILS AND ALLUVIUM. QUARTZ INCLUDES CLEAR ROCK CRYSTAL, SMOKY QUARTZ, DEEP PURPLE AMETHYST, TRANSLUCENT MASSIVE PURPLE AMETHYST, AND ORANGE-YELLOW CITRINE.
