Deposit BASAL CALCAREOUS SLATE-SILTSTONE LAYER CONSISTING OF CLAY INTERBEDDED WITH MAGNESITE, DOLOMITE, CALCITE, TALC AND NODULOS OF QUARTZ AND LIMONITE. OVERLYING BED OF SLATE, SANDSTONE AND QUARTZITE CONTAINING ASBESTOS. FIBROUS CROCIDOLITE FILLS FRACTURES AND FORMS STOCKWORKS IN SLATE.
