  • THE BOPI RIVER HAS THREE LARGE BEACHES, THE LARGEST OF WHICH IS IN THE HEADWATERS. COMSUR DRILLED EIGHT HOLES IN THIS AREA. THE HIGHEST GOLD VALUE RECORDED IS 40 MG PER CUBIC YARD, BUT BEDROCK WAS NOT REACHED.

Deposit THE GRAVELS HAVE A GRAIN SIZE OF LESS THAN 0.15 M DIAMETER AND THE COBBLES ARE ROUNDED. THE GOLD IS FINE GRAINED AND FLAKY. A LITTLE CASSITERITE IS PRESENT IN THE PAN CONCENTRATES.
