  • THE SORCE IS NEAR THE OLD HUALLANTANI MINE AND THERE ARE SOME AURIFEROUS VEINS IN THE AREA. THE RIVER CUTS STEEP VELLEYS THROUGH MORAINES AND EVENTUALLY DISAPPEARS IN ALARGE PLAIN. THE BEDROCK LIES AT A DEPTH OF 30 TO 50 INCHES.

Deposit THE HIGHEST GOLD VALUES ARE FOUND IN THE BASAL GRAVELS LAYING ON WEATHERED GRANITE. NUMEROUS NUGGETS HAVE BEEN FOUND. TOWARDS THE BASE THE GRAVEL CONTAINS UP TO 200 MG/CUBIC YARD, WITH SOME CASSITERITE.
