Deposit TWO VEINS ABOUT 40 FT. APART NEARLY PARALLEL, E VEIN 5 - 12 FT. THICK, W VEIN HAS VERTICLE DIP AND 5 - 6 FT. THICK, VEINS JOIN ABOVE ADIT PORTAL. NUMEROUS QUARTZ STRINGERS PARALLEL TO MAIN VEINS, ESPECIALLY IN S PORTION OF DEPOSIT. ABOUT 300 FEET SOUTH OF THE ADIT PORTAL, A SOUTHEAST-STRIKING CROSS VEIN SEVERAL FEET WIDE EXTENDS FROM THE EAST TO THE WEST VEIN. IN THE NORTH PORTION OF THE MINE, THE EAST VEIN ENTERS A SHEAR ZONE WHERE THERE ARE CONSIDERABLE AMOUNTS OF GOUGE. HERE THE STRIKE SWINGS TO THE EAST, AND THE WIDTH OF THE VEIN NARROWS TO LESS THAN A FOOT.
