  • THE DEPOSIT IS LOCATED ON THE NW SLOPE OF VOLCAN POAS, BUT THE COORDINATES GIVEN BY DENGO AND LEVY (1970) AND GUILD (1981) ARE MUCH TO FAR TO THE NW, IN THE VICINITY OF CERRO EL AVION, NEAR CHOCOSUELA. THE COORDINATES LISTED HERE ARE FOR THE CENTER OF VOLCAN POAS. CASTRO AND VARGAS (1982) DISTINGUISH THIS DEPOSIT FROM CERRO CONGO (MRDS-REV REC. NO. 289). AT 5111, 2423 ON NATIONAL GRID IN NATIONAL PARK.
