Deposit NEAR THE VEINS THE LIMESTONE IS HIGHLY SILICIFIED. THE LARGEST VEIN,THE CHIHUAHUA, WAS MINED ABOVE AND BELOW ADITS ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF MINING CANYON. IT IS AS MUCH AS 15 FT WIDE. BOTH THE SULFIDE MINERALS AND THE SCHEELITE OCCUR IN THE QUARTZ AND IN THE SILICIFIED LIMESTONE AS VEINS OR SMALL IRREGULAR REPLACEMENT BODIES, BUT SCHEELITE ORE IS RESTRICTED ALMOST ENTIRELY TO THE STOCK WORK, WHERE IT IS COMMONLY ADJACENT TO, BUT NOT MIXED WITH, THE LEAD SILVER ORE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
