Deposit FLUORSPAR OCCURS IN NARROW DISCONTINUOUS VEINS UP TO 1 M THICK IN FAULT ZONES THAT TREND EAST. ONE OF THE SHAFTS DISCLOSED 2 TO 3 FT OF SILICEOUS FLUORSPAR IN A VEIN THAT STRIKES N70W AND DIPS 80SW. ABOUT 400 FT NE OF THE SHAFT AN 8 FT WIDE BRECCIA ZONE CONTAINS COARSE-GRAINED FLUORITE IN VEINLETS FROM 4 TO 24 IN ACROSS. THE ZONE, EXPOSED IN A SECOND SHAFT, STRIKES N75E AND DIPS 60NW. FLUORITE WAS DEPOSITED AS OPEN-SPACE FILLING OR AS REPLACEMENT OF GRANODIORITE HOST ROCK. VEIN CONTAINS AS MUCH AS 30-40% CAF2. FIVE UNPATENTED CLAIMS IN THE 1940'S.
