  • PIT IS 60 FT. DEEP BUT IS REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN WORKED TO A DEPTH OF 90 FT. OVERALL LENGTH AND WIDTH ARE FROM THE PIT, WHICH WAS 200 FT. WIDE ON THE ENDS. LENGTH OF WORKINGS IS FROM THE 100-FT. SHAFT IN WHICH DRIFTS EXTENDED FROM THE 85-FT. LEVEL FOR 105 FT. NORTHEAST AND 100 FT SOUTH. DEPTH IS FROM THE SECOND SHAFT WHICH HAD A 20-FT. DRIFT EXTENDING SOUTH AT THE BOTTOM.
