  • DEPTH OF MAIN PIT IS 20 FT DEEP, 250 FT LONG, AND 150 FT WIDE. TWO SHAFTS ON SOUTH SIDE OF PIT ARE CONNECTED BY A DRIFT AT A DEPTH OF 50 FT. SHAFT NEAR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE PIT IS 93 FT DEEP. A 40-FT LONG CUT IS 100 YD NORTH OF THE PIT.

  • ECON.COM: FROM THE REPORTED OCCURRENCE OF ORE IN THE SHAFTS AND CONNECTING DRIFT, THERE IS APPARENTLY A LARGE PROPORTION OF THE ORE BODY THAT HAS NOT BEEN MINED (CRANE, G.W., 1912).
