Deposit THERE IS AN ABSENCE OF CHERT DETRITUS IN THIS BANK. WHERE THE ORE OF THIS BANK FIRST OCCURS, THE LIMONITE IS OF POOR QUALITY, BEING QUITE SILICEOUS, BUT ON ASCENDING THE HILL IT GROWS REDDER AND LEANER.
