  • NEAR THE OSBURN FAULT ZONE IN MONTANA GALENA IS THE MOST COMMON ORE AND SPHALERITE IS ABUNDANT ON SOME PROPERTIES. ALL THE VEINS ARE FISSURE TYPE, FILLING CAVITIES ALONG FRACTURES IN PART AND REPLACING THE WALL ROCK IN PART. IN GENERAL, THE ORE SHOOTS ARE SHORTER IN STRIKE LENGTH THAN IN DIP LENGTH.
