  • FOUR PITS OF ROUGHLY THE SAME SIZE AND ONLY ABOUT A FOOT DEEP EXPOSING A THIN LAYER OF TUFA, COATING QUARTZITE AND LIMESTONE. THE SOUTHERN MOST WORKING ON THE MAP IS ACTUALLY PART OF A ROAD CUT.
