Deposit MANGANESE OCCURS IN EIGHT OR MORE STEEPLY DIPPING FISSURES OR FRACTURES WHICH RANGE IN STRIKE FROM NORTH TO N 60 W. THE MAIN FISSURE, WHICH PRODUCED MOST OF THE ORE, STRIKES N 60 W. THE ORE SHOOTS RANGED FROM 1 FT. TO 5 FT. IN WIDTH AND FROM A FEW FEET TO 100 FT. IN LENGTH. FIVE UNPATENTED CLAIMS WERE LOCATED IN 1952 AND THREE PLACER CLAIMS, MINERAL SURVEY NUMBERS 1788 AND 1789, WERE PATENTED IN 1919.
