Deposit THE DIP VARIES BUT DOES NOT EXCEED 25. A WELL-DEVELOPED JOINT SET IS ORIENTED N70E, 70SE; AND A LESS PRONOUNCED VERTICAL JOINT SET TRENDS N35W. THE COLOR RANGES FROM OLIVE GRAY TO GREENISH GRAY. BLACK PYROLUSITE DENDRITES ON THE BEDDING SURFACES PRODUCE AN ATTRACTIVE FERN-LIKE DESIGN.
