| Deposit | FLUORSPAR OCCURS IN THREE NEARLY PARALLEL FISSURES THAT TREND N 60 E AND DIP STEEPLY SOUTH. THE VEINS ARE IN BRECCIATED FAULTS, SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET APART, IN PRECAMBRIAN GNEISSIC GRANITE. FLUORITE IS DENSE TO MEDIUM CUBIC CRYSTALLINE AND WHITE TO PALE GREEN OR VIOLET WHERE IT IS FOUND IN VEINS. |
