| Deposit | THE REDSKIN STOCK IS ZONED, WITH NEARLY ALL OF THE BERYLLIUM DEPOSITS OCCURRING IN THE GRANITE-APLITE OR PORPHYRITIC GRANITE FACIES OF THE GREISENIZED REDSKIN GRANITE. EVEN THOSE DEPOSITS NOT ACTUALLY IN THE REDSKIN GRANITE ARE SPATIALLY AND GENETICALLY RELATED TO IT. AT THE BOOMER MINE NEARLY ALL ORE WAS FOUND ABOVE 8500 FT IN ALTITUDE. THE DEPOSIT LIES NEAR THE SOUTH CONTACT OF THE BOOMER CUPOLA. BERYL IS DOMINANT IN ALL ORE BODIES EXCEPT OUTHOUSE LODE WHERE BERTRANDITE PREDOMINATES. ALTHOUGH ORE BODIES ARE APPARENTLY SEPARATE, IT SEEMS CERTAIN THAT THEY "ACTUALLY INTERCONNECTED AND FORM ONE LARGE COMPLEX BODY LOCALIZED BY THE COMBINED INFLUENCE OF THE BOOMER VEIN, FRACTURES OF THE STEEP NORTHEAST-TRENDING SET, AND THE SOUTHERN CONTACT OF THE BOOMER CUPOLA". AT LEAST TWO PIPES ARE EXPOSED IN THE HANGING WALL OF THE BOOMER VEIN. |
