ORE WAS MINED FOR 120 FT NORTH AND 160 FT SOUTH ON THE 200 FT LEVEL AND SEVERAL ORE SHOOTS WERE MINED BETWEEN THE 200 AND 400 FT LEVELS. ABOUT 1000 FT NW OF THIS SHAFT A 25 FT SHAFT WAS SUNK WHILE 500 FT FURTHER NW, ANOTHER 25 FT SHAFT WAS SUNK. SEVERAL TRENCHES HAVE EXPOSED THE VEIN FOR 500 FT NORTH OF THE MAIN SHAFT.

Deposit FLUORSPAR OCCURS IN A VEIN THAT OCCUPIES A CROOKED BRECCIA ZONE ADJACENT TO AND WITHIN A BASALT DIKE THAT CUTS A MONZONITE PORPHYRY STOCK AND TRENDS IRREGULARLY NORTH AND THEN, BEYOND THE NORTHERN END OF THE GRATTAN WORKINGS, NORTHWEST. THE VEIN DIPS STEEPLY EAST AND GENERALLY FOLLOWS THE EAST SIDE OF THE DIKE. THE ORE MINERAL IS WHITE TO PALE GREEN, DENSE OR GRANULAR TO COARSELY CRYSTALLINE, AND IS INTERGROWN WITH CRYSTALLINE QUARTZ AND CHERT. THREE UNPATENTED CLAIMS.
