General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit LOWER HERMOSA FM INTRUDED BY HORNBLENDE LATITE PORPHYRY. SCATTERED POCKETS OF NATIVE AU AND SLIGHTLY AURIFEROUS PYRITE OCCUR IN CHALE BRECCIA ABOVE BEDDING FAULT 15 FT ABOVE PORPHYRY SILL, IN FRACTURES TERMINATING ON BRECCIA, IN BEDDING SEAM AT TOP OF FRACTURES 30 FT ABOVE SHALE BRECCIA. CALCITE AND LOOSE QUARTZ ARE SPARSE. DEPOSIT IS UNIQUE IN DISTRICT IN THAT ALL VALUES ARE FREE AU, BUT DEPOSIT WAS NOT VERY PROCDUCTIVE DUE TO ERRATIC OCCURRENCE OF AU POCKETS.
