General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit IN NORTH-CENTRAL PART OF WILSON PEAK STOCK, CHALCOPYRITE OCCURS (1) DISSEMINATED IN ADAMELLITE (QUARTZ MONZONITE), (2) ALONG MINOR FRACTURES, AND (3) IN NARROW AURIFEROUS QUARTZ VEINS WITH PYRITE, MINOR GALENA AND SPHALERITE. ZERO VEIN FOLLOWS 2- TO 6-INCH-WIDE FISSURE TRENDING N 65 TO 75 E, DIPPING STEEPLY SE TO VERTICAL, AND SHOWING CONSPICUOUS SECONDARY CU MINERALS. DISSEMINATED CHALCOPYRITE OCCURS IN POORLY OUTLINED AREA EXTENDING EASTWARD FROM ADIT ABOUT 1000 FT, WITH VISIBLE CARBONATE STAINING AT LEAST 100 FT ABOVE PORTAL. ALTERED ROCKS ALSO SHOW COMMON QUARTZ VEINLETS AND FRACTURE COATINGS AND SERICITIZED FELDSPAR. VISIBLE MOLYBDENITE FOUND ON DUMP OF CAVED ADIT 400 FT BELOW ZERO ADIT.
