Deposit THE MINE WORKS A NUMBER OF VEINS: THE MOUNTAIN VIEW SOUTH VEIN (AN EASTERN SEGMENT OF THE ANACONDA LODE); THE SHANNON VEIN; THE JOHNSTOWN VEIN; AND A NUMBER OF N-S VEINS BELONGING TO THE MOUNTAIN VIEW SYSTEM. ALL OF THESE VEINS ARE CUT AND DISPLACED BY THE MOUNTAIN VIEW FAULT VEIN, OTHER MEMBERS OF THE BLUE VEIN SYSTEM AND THE STEWARD SYSTEM, WITH ACCOMPANYING ENRICHMENT OF ORES. GREAT ORE BODIES WERE ALSO FOUND ALONGFAULT FISSURES. OXIDATION OCCURS DOWN TOO 500 FT BENEATH THE SURFACE. TTHE ENARGITE ORES ARE LESS OXIDIZED THAN THE GLANCE-PYRITE ORES.
