DEPOSIT IS TRANSVERSE VEIN IN SLACK'S (1980) QUARTZ/BASE-METAL ASSEMBLAGE, INNER QUARTZ-CHALCOPYRITE ZONE. TWO VEINS INTERSECTED: FIRST VEIN TRENDS ABOUT N 45 E AND EXTENDS SW INTO BIG CASINO WORKINGS; SECOND VEIN TRENDS ABOUT EAST-WEST AND DIPS 60 S. EARLIER MINERAL IN VEIN APPEARS TO BE GALENA, BROKEN WITH AREAS OF ARGENTIFEROUS TETRAHEDRITE SCATTERED THROUGH IT, AND SUBORDINATE SPHALERITE AND LITTLE GANGUE. |
