NE OF MINE, SEQUENCE IS INTRUDED AND ALTERED BY MONZONITE PORPHYRY AND RHYOLITE PLUGS. SMALLER MONZONITE PORPHYRY PLUG LIES JUST SW OF MINE. VEIN LIES IN SLACK'S (1980) QUARTZ/BASE-METAL ASSEMBLAGE, INNER QUARTZ-CHALCOPYRITE ZONE. VEIN TRENDS N 15 E, DIPS 70 TO 80 SE, VARIES FROM 2 TO 6 INCHES IN WIDTH, WIDENING WITH DEPTH. VEIN CONTAINS BRECCIATED FRAGMENTS OF COUNTRY ROCK. ORE CHARACTERIZED BY NATIVE AU WHICH WAS FOUND IN WIRE FORM AT DEPTH OF 40 FT IN SHAFT. |
