Deposit THE FISSURE VEIN MINED AT THE ANNIE TUNNEL IS THE PRINCE FISSURE. THIS SAME FISSURE WAS EXPECTED TO BE FOUND AT DEPTH IN THE ALTA TUNNEL BUT WAS NOT FOUND. LAMPHOPHYRE DIKES ARE FOUND IN THE PRINCE FISSURE AND APPEAR TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH MINERLAIZATION. REPLACEMENT DEPOSITS ARE MORE ABUNDANT IN THE LOWER WORKINGS. HOST ROCK FOR REPLACEMENT DEPOSITS IS THE FITCHVILLE FORMATION AND NO REPLACEMENT NOTED IN SURROUNDING FORMATIONS. REPLACEMENT ORE HORIZONS WERE REPEATED THREE TIMES BY REVERSE FAULT.
Deposit Discovery Year: LATE 1800'S
