Subject category Comment text
Deposit NUMEROUS FISSURES ARE PRESENT ON THE PROPERTY, ALL WITH THE SAME GENERAL STRIKE AND DIP. MOST PROMINENT IS CALLED THE BROOKLYN AND IS THOUGHT TO BE THE BRAIN AND IS ACCESSED BY THE SILVER KING ADIT. OTHER FISSURES ARE THE SILVER KING, HOBOKEN, AND DAVENPORT. TWO DOMINANT TYPES OF MINERALIZATION ARE PRESENT, CONTACT METASOMATIC SKARNS AND REPLACEMENT BODIES NEXT TO FISSURES. CONTACT METASOMATIC DEPOSITS OCCUR IRREGULARLY NEXT TO THE OFF SHOOTS OF THE ALTA STOCK. REPLACEMENT BODIES PRODUCED LARGEST TONNAGE OF OARE AND ARE FOUND IN FAVORABLE BEDS NEXT TO ALL FISSURES. THE LARGEST REPLACEMENT BODY IS NEXT TO THE BROOKLYN FISSURE
Deposit Discovery Year: LATE 1800'S
