Commodity Importance
Tungsten Critical Primary
Molybdenum Tertiary

Comments on the commodity information

  • Two records (erroneously) attribute incorrect commodities to the Clyde mine. Record 10165613 suggests that the mine produced gold. If it did, the cited references (Vanderwilt, and Lovering and Goddard) do not mention gold. Record 10008339 lists this as a molybdenum producer. It is not. There is a description in PP-245 (p. 38) that says a few flakes of molybenite were found in the Clyde. Trace is the best this mine might contain.
