Deposit THE STOCK IS 2.5 MI LONG AND 0.6 MI WIDE. THE CONTACT OF THE LIMESTONE AND GRANODIORITE EXTENDS FOR MORE THAN 2 MI ALONG THE S EDGE OF THE STOCK. THE LARGEST BERYLLIUM-BEARING ZONE OUTCROPS FOR 900 FT ACROSS A TRIBUTARY DRAW. A 50 FT WIDEAPLITE-PEGMATITE BODY OUTCROPS NEAR THE CENTER OF THE DRAW. THE ZONE IS 60-75% MASSIVE IDOCRASE AND 25-40% SCHIST. ANOTHER ZONE IS 800 FT DOWN THE SLOPE. IT STRIKES N85E AND DIPS 40 N. IT OUTCROPS FOR 147 FT AND AVERAGE THICKNESS IS 21 FT. THE IDOCRASE COMPRISES 50-70% OF THE ZONE. A FEW 100 FT W ON THE W SLOPE A THIRD BERYLLIUM-BEARING ZONE OCCURS. IT OUTCROPS FOR 250 E M110 FT. IT IS 30 FT THICK AND STRIKES N 82 E AND DIPS 61N. THE OUT CROP IS TERMINATED BY FOLD TO THE EAST. IT CONSISTS OF INTERCALATED BANDS OF MASSIVE IDOCRASE AND GNEISS. ANOTHER BERYLLIUM-BEARING ZONE OCCUR ABOUT 1 MI N AND 1 MI E.
