  • THE MAIN WORKING OF THE MINE IS THE ADIT AT THE END OF THE ROAD, AN INTERNAL SHAFT WAS SUNK 750 FT FROM THE PORTAL TO A DEPTH OF 1174 FT. LEVELS ARE OPENED FROM THIS SHAFT AT 250 FT., 500 FT., 750 FT AND 1,100 FT. AND SEVERAL SUBLEVELS HAVE BEEN DRIVEN FROM RAISES AND WINZES THAT EXTEND ABOVE AND BELOW THE MAIN LEVELS. THE DEEPEST PENETRATION OF THE MINE IS THE 1300 FT. LEVEL WHICH IS REACHED THROUGH A SERIES OF WINZES BEGINNING ON THE 1100 FT LEVEL.
