Subject category Comment text
Deposit NARROW, NORTH WEST-STRIKING QUARTZ VEINS AND LIMONITE-FILLED FISSURES IN QUARTZ MONZONITE; ALSO WEAK MINERALIZATION ALONG NORTHEAST-STRIKING APLITE DIKES.
Deposit DURING THE UTAH GEOL. AND MINERAL SURVEY FIELD WORK OF 1981, THE FISSURES DID NOT APPEAR AS WELL MINERALIZED AS NOLAN (1935, P. 149) HAD DESCRIBED. THE ONLY MINERALS IDENTIFIED AS POSSIBLE ORE MINERALS OR THE ALTERATION PRODUCTS OF SUCH, WERE SCORODITE, LIMONITE, JAROSITE, AND A VERY MINOR AMOUNT OF SPHALERITE. ; INFO.SRC : 3 FIELD OBSERV; 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
