Comments on development

  • NON-GEOLOGIC CONSTRAINTS ON DEVELOPMENT OR EXPANSION IN 1-5 YRS.: GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS AND LOW METAL PRICE. NO ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT IN MINE. ACTIVE EXPLORATION IN DISTRICT: YES. SOME PROSPECTING IN DEVON AND CORNWALL IN GENERAL BUT NONE AT THE HEMERDON SITE AT PRESENT. ASSESSMENT: MINE WILL PROBABLY COME INTO OPERATION IN 5-10 YEARS TIME PROVIDED THERE IS AN ADEQUATE METAL PRICE. NO OBVIOUS CONSTRAINTS ON EXPANSION EXCEPT ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS AND THE SIZE OF THE DEPOSIT.
