  • 10 PITS WERE OPENED, 10-30 FEET IN DIAMETER AND 5-15 FEET DEEP. THREE SHAFTS WERE WORKED, 60, 84 AND 85 FEET DEEP. TODAY SEVERAL LARGE TAILINGS PILES AND SOME SMALL CALLAPSED PITS AND TRENCHES ARE PRESENT.
