  • IN 1868 THE DEPTH OF THE MINE INCREASED TO 250 FT AND THE LENTH TO 600 FT. DRILL HOLE PUT DOWN VERTICALLY AT 385 AND 415 FEET SE OF THE OUTCROP OF THE NORTH RIVER SHORE FOUND ORE AT 338 FT AND AT 365 FT FROM THE FURFACE. MANY DEEP PITS AND SHAFTS PRESENT.
