WOODRUFF (1904, P. 32) GIVES 3 MI N. OF MOUNTAIN PARK. THREE MORE SHAFTS WERE REPORTED, WITHIN ABOUT 1200 FT OF THIS SHAFT (HALE, 1981B, P. 311, 317, MAP), QUOTING RYAN (1936) WHO SHOWS LOCATIONS. RYAN REPORTED THAT HE DID NOT FIND ANY MINERALS OF VALUE. DE BARR (1904, P. 34, 36) AND WOODRUFF (1904, P. 32) REPORTED FINDING COPPER AND SILVER VALUES.

  • SAMPLES TAKEN FROM SHAFT DIRECTLY. THREE MORE SHAFTS WERE NOTED, ABOUT 1200 FT FROM AREA. I DO NOT KNOW IF SOME OF THE ASSAYED SPECIMENS CAME FROM THOSE PROSPECTS. THE MAIN SHAFT WAS 130 FT DEEP IN OCTOBER 1904. THE DEPTH WAS 200 FT IN 1936.
