  • PROBABLY HYDROTHERMAL VEINS IN LUGERT GRANITE CARRIED COPPER. THE COPPER MINERALS WERE REWORKED IN HENNESSEY SEA AND INCORPORATED WITH GRANITE ARKOSE. THE ARKOSE WAS OXIDIZED, FORMING CLAY MINERALS AND AZURITE AND MALACHITE. POLK (1948) AND MERRITT (1958) DISCUSS GEOLOGY.
