Comments on the geologic information

  • THE COPPER MINERALS WERE FORMED FROM HYDROTHERMAL SOLUTIONS IN VEINS IN LUGERT GRANITE. THE COPPER WAS REDEPOSITED IN THE PERMIAN SEA (HENNESSEY-EL RENO) AND INCORPORATED INTO ARKOSE AND WEATHERED GRANITE. THESE ARE ALIGNED NW-SE AND ARE PART OF A SERIES OF 9 OCCURRENCES SCATTERED ALONG A NW-SE LINE FOR ABOUT 1.5 MILES. POLK (1948) AND MERRITT (1958) DISCUSS THE GEOLOGY.; HR.AGE.MV: GUADALUPIANyLEONARDIAN
