THE ROCK IS MIXED GRANITE AND MICRODIORITE INTRUSIVES IN GLEN MOUNTAINS LAYERED COMPLEX. WALPER (1949, 1951) SHOWS GEOLOGY OF AREA. [RYAN (1936, SHEET KR-9) LOCATED ANOTHER "BABY" PROSPECT IN THE NE-SE-SE-NE-SEC. 20-4N-17W, SUNK TO 125 FT IN 1905 BY FORT WORTH INTERESTS. IT WAS IN A DIABASE DIKE WITH QUARTZ STRINGERS. THIS WOULD BE ABOUT 0.5 MI W. OF THE ABOVE "BABY" PROSPECT. NO ATTRACTIVE MINERALS WERE FOUND.]
