  • POSSIBLY COPPER WAS DEPOSITED IN VEINS IN REFORMATORY GRANITE. THE COPPER WAS THEN REWORKED POSSIBLY IN HENNESSEY SEA. TERRACE GRAVELS WERE THEN DEPOSITED BY THE NORTH FORK RIVER DURING PLEISTOCENE TIME.

Deposit PROBABLY SCATTERED VEINS WITH COPPER WERE WORKED BY THE HENNESSEY SEA AND NORTH FORK RIVER, AND THE COPPER WAS REDEPOSITED IN LENSES.
Deposit POSSIBLY THERE ARE OTHER OCCURRENCES ALONG THE NE-SW PIPELINE OR HIGHLINE.
Deposit LOCATED BY RYAN AND WINNETT (JUNE 1936, SHEET 2006). MERRITT (1958) AND POLK (1948) MAPPED THE AREA AS TERRACE, PROBABLY UNDERLAIN BY REFORMATORY GRANITE. MERRITT (IN RYAN AND WINNETT, 1936) SAID THAT THEY FOUND MALACHITE.
